SmartCollision
achieved high-speed processing of the Penetration Depth calculation of 3D
object. It is Collision Detection library of the polygon base.(not voxel
conversion)
In the arbitrary polyhedron polygon object (Non-convex polyhedra is included),
the interference detection are high-speed and Penetration Depth calculation
possible. It's also possible to adjust to Haptic device (Haptic rendering)
such as PHANTOM.
When two virtual objects or more are real-time Collision Detection, because
the shape of the object object and the accuracy etc. of Collision Detection
are different respectively, calculation amount before and after the collision
increases.
Therefore, difficult algorithm and a high data processing ability are needed,
The efficiency improvement of the Collision Detection is an important problem.
SmartCollision offers a solution to such a problem.
